Just a quick update on Life, the Universe, &ct. I’ve been hired as an adjunct by a local community college and am teaching American History to 1877 this semester. It’s part-time, but I love the work and it’s a good resume builder while I look at my post-graduation options. The only disappointment has been the faculty lounge — no disco balls, espresso machines, or anything else exciting behind the door. Just chairs. I’m really looking forward to teaching about the Puritans — perhaps the most misunderstood and misrepresented group of people in the popular mind.
Anyway, please be in prayer as I look for the right permanent job. There are a ton of different directions I could go, which is a nice problem to have.
CONGRATS! I knew that someone would finally recognize your awesome pedagogical skills!
Aw, I’m SO disappointed to find out what’s behind the faculty lounge door!
I was expecting at least private rooms in which various teachers could fulfill the rumors.
Anyhow, congratulations! It is so cool you can teach on the Puritans. What is your post-graduation goal at this point?
