From the WSJ:
“Democrats understand Sarah Palin is a formidable political force who has upset the Obama victory plan. The latest Washington Post/ABC Poll shows John McCain taking a 12-point lead over Barack Obama among white women, a reversal of Mr. Obama’s eight-point lead last month. . . It’s no surprise, then, that Democrats have airdropped a mini-army of 30 lawyers, investigators and opposition researchers into Anchorage, the state capital Juneau and Mrs. Palin’s hometown of Wasilla to dig into her record and background.“
Thank goodness Obama has put a stop to the hateful politics of personal destruction of the Bush Administration. This mini-army of attack lawyers will surely usher in an era of bipartisanship, healing and mutual respect.
I’m enjoying all the controversies around Palin… it is interesting to see what people will harp on next. But I am glad that the campaign season will be short. I don’t want to hear it all forever!
BTW, did you see the article by Camille Paglia on Salon.com? Justin Taylor just commented on it on his blog and I thought you might appreciate the perspective.

I did read it. Paglia is one of my fave insane feminist writers ever. And if you’re familiar with her work, her praise of Palin as the biggest leap forward for women since Madonna was high praise indeed. . .
