Obama writing off Ohio and Florida?

Is Obama writing off Ohio and Florida? This election is already more interesting than 2004. According to the AP, Obama’s people are talking about a path to 270 electoral votes which may not include those two swing states. On the other hand, Virginia is believed to be in play, something that hasn’t happened since 1964. Weird.

News like this also makes McCain’s sitch look less scary. Obama’s generic, national numbers are good, but it’s often concentrated in safe, Democratic states. McCain is running solidly in the swing states.
