Glittery Ephemera: 21 Jump Street the Movie!

Jonah Hill, the chubby kid from Superbad! is executive producing a remake of the classic 80’s TV show 21 Jump Street. For those of you who don’t remember it, the show featured youthful undercover cops working in the school and university system to ferret out evildoers. It managed to be earnest, fun and goofy in a way that only 1980s pop culture could pull off. And it brought Johnny Depp into the world, for good and bad. With G.I. Joe, Transformers and 21 Jump Street all getting remakes, can Thundercats and Sledge Hammer! be far behind?
