Awesome Americana: The Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum

This is one of the coolest museums ever. Located on I-95 at exit 102, just south of Savannah, it’s a great stopping-off point when traveling to Florida. They have a ton of aircraft on exhibit, including a Komet (a rare German rocket plane), a Mig-17 Fresco, a B-47 Stratojet, a P-51 Mustang, an ME-109, and more.
